Under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, the National Conference of Judicial and Law Enforcement Officials is being held at the Government House. The Conference was opened by the President of Mongolia, U.Khurelsukh, and was addressed by the Speaker of the Parliament and the Prime Minister.
D.Ganzorig, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia, delivered a speech on “Judicial Reform: Independence, Functions and Responsibilities”. M. Chinbat, Deputy Prosecutor General, Kh. Nyambaatar, Minister of Justice and Home Affairs, and other officials will also make presentations on issues facing the judiciary and law enforcement agencies.
The Conference will continue with sub-session on “Judicial Independence and the Rule of Law”, “Inquiry, Investigation, Prosecution and Human Rights and Freedoms”, and “Lawyer Training System and Legal Discipline”. The findings of the branch meeting will be presented to the participants and recommendations will be made by the National Assembly.
