The First Conference of All Judges of Mongolia will be held on the 11th of this month and the members of the Judicial General Council and the Judicial Disciplinary Committee will be elected through secret ballot.

The Judicial General Council is required to elect one judge from the Supreme Court and two judges from the Courts of Appeal and two judges from the Court of First Instance through secret ballot. Eight judges from the First Instance Court, nine from the Appellate Court and one from the Supreme Court have been nominated for Judicial General Council (the candidates' information is available at https://judcouncil.mn/site/news_full/11294).

One judge from the  Supreme Court , two from the Court of Appeal, and one from the Court of First Instance  shall be elected to the Judicial Disciplinary Committee  through secret ballot. Four judges from the First Instance Court, five judges from the Appellate Court, and one judge from the Supreme Court have nominated as candidates for the disciplinary committee. / Candidate information is available at http://judcouncil.mn/site/news_full/11295 /.

As Article 3.3 of the Law on Prevention, Combating and Reducing the Social and Economic Impact of the Coronavirus Plague (Kovid-19) states “The Conference of All Judges, selection and appointment of members of the Judicial General Council and the Judicial Disciplinary Committee may be organized in traditional form”, judges of all levels of courts are obliged to attend the First Conference of the All Judges in person.
