The Training Program Committee established at the Judicial Institute Training, Research and Information held its first meeting on September 13, 2021.
A 15-member Curriculum Committee consisting of judges from criminal, civil, and administrative courts, the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs, and the Judicial General Council, as well as academics, is responsible for defining a judicial training policy and developing a judicial training program.
The training program committee discussed and approved the internal agenda of the first meeting. During the mandate of the Training Program Committee, working groups were established to develop a unified judge training policy for 2022-2024 and a 2021 judge training program and model training documents, and the working group was provided with recommendations and guidelines.
In order to organize the training of judges in the fourth quarter of 2021 within the framework of the newly approved Law on Courts of Mongolia, the Training Program Committee decided to develop a relevant training program and take measures to get it approved in accordance with the law.
In addition, in accordance with the Law on Courts of Mongolia, the Judicial Institute of Training, Research and Information has been instructed to monitor the needs and requirements of judicial training in 2021 and 2022, and to develop proposals.
