Mr. Khosbayar Chagdaa, Presiding Justice of the Criminal Case Chamber of the Supreme Court of Mongolia met with Mr. Chun Dae-Yup, Minister of the National Court Administration of the Republic of Korea on 25 April 2024 during his visit to the Supreme Court of Korea.

During the meeting, parties shared about recent developments and ongoing challenges in the judiciary of the two countries and discussed about potential areas for cooperation in the future. Parties shared their opinions regarding cooperative activities including renewing MoU established between two courts in 2013, organizing a joint conference on the reform of criminal legislation and strengthening the independence of the judiciary in the transitional period, exchanging mutual experiences on cooperation with the International Criminal Court, as well as jointly organizing a high-level regional seminar.

Mr. Chun Dae-Yup was appointed as the Minister of National Court Administration in January 2024 and expressed his support for expanding relations and cooperation between the parties and organizing the meeting of the Chief Justices of the two courts.
