Justices M.Batsuuri and D.Batbaatar of the Supreme Court are attending IP Judges’ Forum 2023 which is taking place in Geneva, Switzerland between 15-16 Nov.

The Forum is being organized since 2018 and this year’s edition is organized under the theme “Promoting transnational dialogue among judiciaries” and more than 600 judges from 100 countries are participating the Forum in hybrid format.

During the forum, judges discussed common challenges related with the adjudication of non-traditional trademarks, patent, industrial designs, and geographical indication along with emerging issues related with new developments including artificial intelligence, metaverse, and rules of evidence in IP litigation.

Justices met with Mr. Marco Aleman, Assistant Director General of the WIPO during the visit and attended signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between Judicial Training, Research and Information Institute (JTRII) of Mongolia and WIPO Judicial Institute.

The JTRII and WIPO Judicial Institute agreed on organizing IP trainings for judges and developing WIPO Lex by integrating IP-related judgments to the database.
