Supreme Court Justice M.Batsuuri and Director D.Erdenechimeg of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Institute of Mongolia pay a visit to the Court of Cassation and Justice Academy of the Republic of Turkey on 13 Nov 2023 at the invitation of the Justice Academy of Turkey.

During the visit, delegates met with Judge Fevzi Yildirim, General Secretary and Judge Mustafa Saldirim, Deputy Secretary General of the Court of Cassation, and Mr.Hasan Kadir Yilmaztekin, Head of Foreign Cooperation Division of the Turkish Justice Academy.

Judge Mustafa Saldirim, Deputy Secretary General of the Court of Cassation presented about judicial system and organization of Court of Cassation of Turkey in detail and parties mutually expressed their interests to expand collaboration during the meeting.

Delegates also met with Mr. Muhittin Ozdemir, President of the Turkish Justice Academy and Mr. Hasan Kadir Yilmaztekin, Head of Foreign Cooperation Division and discussed about future plans on mutual training for judges.

Following bilateral meeting, Ms. D.Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Institute and Mr. Muhittin Ozdemir, President of the Turkish Justice Academy signed a memorandum of understanding.

Justice M.Batsuuri expressed that the parties would bring current cooperation to new level and contribute to the capacity of judges within the framework of this MoU.

Turkish Justice Academy was established in 2003 and is responsible for organizing trainings for judges, prosecutors, candidates to judges/prosecutors, and lawyers. The Justice Academy cooperates with 72 judicial academies all over the world.
